Biosensors Workshop

A one day workshop on Biosensors

Aimed at providing an interface between academics and the industry, a one day workshop is being held on 25th November 2017 at IIT Madras. The workshop is a fresh attempt to disseminate the knowledge of biosensor basics and cutting edge technologies among young scientists and researchers in this field, in addition to identifying the critical issues in bringing them to the market, as well as technological solutions to overcome them.

Following are the highlights of the programme

  • Basics: Bioreceptors, transduction techniques
  • Nanomaterials, nanobiosensors
  • Industry perspectives, bottlenecks to commercialization, market analysis
  • Recent advances in the field
  • Panel discussions
